About Szeged
Szeged is famous for its cultural, scientific and artistic diversity and for the extensive hours of sunshine. The town used to be called as a city of sunshine. The town, divided into two parts by the Tisza, hosts the famous Open-air Festival of Szeged. It is located in the south-eastern part of Hungary. Due to its geographical location the town plays a key role in the south.

Szeged can be reached in two hours of driving from Budapest on highway M5.

Location
HUNGUEST Hotel Forrás, renovated in 1998, is situated in New-Szeged on the riverside of Tisza. The hotel awaits guests longing for recovery, vacation and relaxation.

Number of rooms: 177, of which 144 are double rooms, 5 suites, and 28 roof conversions. The rooms are equipped with minibar, colour TV, direct dial phone (except roof conversions), bath, toilet and balcony. 28 rooms are air-conditioned.

Dining and entertainment
The hotel restaurant can accommodate 250 persons. There is a brasserie reflecting the atmosphere of the beginning of the XX. century, one beer tent for 200 persons from spring till autumn. In the garden of the restaurant there are grill opportunities, and in the lobby a drinkbar. In few minutes walk you can reach the town centre, where several places of entertainment are waiting for the guests.
